Tom Marron, Managing Partner and co founder of Rocky Mountain Wealth Partners, has teamed up with his clientele since 1986 to help them achieve financial independence and a predictable, endurable income for their retirement years.
Over this long period of time Tom has studied and learned from the various market environments. From the Stock Market Crash of 1987 to the tech bubble of 2000 and most recently the second longest run in the S&P 500 history.
Tom cares deeply for his clients and considers them to be his friends.
Unlike some advisors Tom invests for himself and his family in many of the same investments he recommends to his clients. Tom employs a number of strategies to mitigate risk, which include hedging strategies that help protect against market pullbacks and tactical managers that can move out of harms way. Tom believes diversification in stock market sectors only is not really diversification at all. He knows real diversification includes investment that will help protect clients from the downside, that will not move lock step with the market and investments that pay a predicable annual income regardless of the market.
Discipline, caring and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions characterize Tom's approach to achieving financial independence for his clients. His philosophy is that having a strategy with specific goals are paramount to achieving clients expectations in life, financial and otherwise.
Tom has been a financial advisor for over three decades. Tom served as the Branch Manager and Vice President of a regional brokerage firm where he supervised over 50 advisors, and for the last decade held the position of Senior Vice President of Presidential Brokerage Inc. and America's Retirement Store. Tom is currently a Managing Partner with Rocky Mountain Wealth Partners, LLC.
Tom enjoys public speaking. He was a Host of The Money for Life show on KVOR for over a decade and has been educating the public with investment and retirement classes in addition to Social Security workshops for many years.
Prior to entering the financial service industry, Tom served as part on the Navy's elite "SAR" team (Search and Rescue). Being a part of such a team took dedication, excellence and a commitment to help all that needed it.
Tom's professional designations include Investment Advisor Representative, FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, Colorado Life, Health, and Variable Annuity licenses. He is also a FINRA series 24 general securities principle.
Tom and his amazing wife Linda believe that if you focus on your goals and strive to achieve them anything is possible.
We trust in the Lord with all our hearts and pray for his guidance. We moved to the great state of Colorado over 20 years ago and never plan on leaving. Tom & Linda enjoy travel, skiing and many other activities that the Rocky Mountains offers.
